Delete your account

You can delete your stageCheer account yourself at any time. Nothing is removed the moment you tap delete: your account is hidden straight away and kept for 30 days in case you change your mind, then the personal parts are cleared for good.

How to delete it

1. Sign in, in the app or on the website.
2. Open Settings and scroll to Delete account.
3. Enter your password to confirm it's you, then choose Delete account.

Already signed in? Go to Settings.

What happens next

• Right away: you're signed out, and your account no longer shows up in search or when other people pick someone to invite or assign.
• For 30 days: nothing is erased. Sign in again at any time in that window and you'll be offered the choice to restore your account exactly as it was.
• After 30 days: your profile photo, bio, social links, other links, tax-exempt details, saved search preferences, notifications, favorites and assistant chats are deleted. Your name is replaced with "Deleted account", your sign-in email address is replaced with a placeholder, signing in to the account is switched off for good, and upcoming events you organized are hidden.

What we keep

• Events, proposals, tasks and circles you took part in. Those are a shared record of things that happened, and other people rely on them, so they stay, but your name on them becomes "Deleted account" and no longer links to a profile.
• Sponsorship records between you and another person, which are kept unchanged as a shared history.
• Records tied to a completed payment, if a payment feature was ever used, where the law requires us to keep them.
